The two most popular keys in bebop blues are F and Bb. Because of how the key of F lays on the fretboard, F solos are constructed using different positions than Bb solos. It is recommended that you study several of the Bb solos prior to starting on the F solos. In this collection you get 3 separate video lessons on 3 different bebop style solos in the key of F.
Solo #1 is a basic bebop solo in F. 5 minute video lesson demonstrated close up by measure with PDF file of music written in both tab and standard notation.
Solo #2 is an ear twisting solo that has melodic phrases that focus on the 13th chord. It also incorporates the dissonance between the 6th and the flat 7th. 14 minute video lesson with fret board close ups, demonstrated by measure with PDF in tab and notation.
Solo #3. These solos can be played in succession. It is recommended that you study several of the Bb solos prior to starting on the F solos. 16 minute video lesson demonstrated close up by measure with PDF file of music written in both tab and standard notation.
