This concert was filmed in early 2005 at Vienna's famous jazz club "Porgy & Bess," and features the incredibly talented Miroslav Vitous performing on bass. Interwoven with insightful artist interviews.




Vitous arrived in New York in 1967 where he quickly involved himself in the music scene playing with many different artists including Charlie Mariano, Bob Broolmeyer, Stan Getz, Herbie Mann, Miles Davis, Chick Corea. In 1970 along with Wayne Shorter and Joe Zawinul he formed the supergroup Weather Report. Thereafter he formed Miroslav Vitous Group before embarking on an equally successful solo career years later.
